Mariano Rodríguez was part of the first graduating class of La Cónsula, although shortly afterwards he decided that he preferred to move into action, working in places such as the Pez Espada and Riviera hotels or the Monte Sancha restaurant, where he coincided with great Malaga chefs such as Javier Hernández, from Candado Golf and Dani Carnero, who is currently successful with Kaleja, La Cosmopolita and La Cosmo. He is also co-owner of the pizzeria Da Mimi, with an authentic Neapolitan flavour.

Restaurant located in the centre of Malaga that offers Malaga and Andalusian cuisine, but under the personal vision of Mariano Rodríguez Sánchez, its chef and owner, and alma mater of the project.


The cuisine of EME de Mariano RS is based on a market cuisine, where the quality of the raw material and Malaga and Andalusian recipes, which Mariano gives them his personal touch, such as gazpachuelo, ajoblanco with ice cream, porra, gazpacho… but he also prepares excellent rice dishes, cod confit, octopus leg on truffle purée, meats, such as caramelised cheeks, oxtail, entrecote, suckling lamb sweetbreads… He also has excellent Iberian cured meats and a great Russian salad.
