Requirements to join the Seal of Traditional Gastronomy of Málaga

Are you a restaurant committed to Málaga’s culinary tradition? Learn how to obtain the Seal of Traditional Gastronomy of Málaga.
All restaurants in Málaga are eligible to receive this distinction if they offer on their menu a minimum of five dishes from traditional Málaga gastronomy, or at least one that is exceptionally prepared, respecting the values and traditional recipes of Málaga, according to the criteria of our committee of experts, which will be made up of renowned professionals and experts in Málaga’s gastronomy. In addition, their wine list must include at least ten wines from Málaga. The use of products from Málaga will be positively evaluated whenever possible, depending on seasonality, availability, and other factors. The offering of Málaga products such as EVOO, cheeses, olives, cured meats, etc., will also be a factor taken into consideration.
